We are pleased you have arrived here and are looking forward to working with you to unfold the hidden qualities within us together.

 

Through listening to the magic of myth and legend, folk lore, stories of epic trials:

Odysseus, Blue Beard, Iron John, legend of Kings and queens and battles and through the practice of creative expression with art materials we will explore what it might be to be male here now.

 

We are calling for courageous men,

Men ready for adventure, to join our quest

Men willing to journey to the interior

Men who are ready to play, to feel into the depth and breadth of being a male today.

 

We are setting out on February the 17th 2026. Adventure with us:

Jarryd Eriksson & Ben Wrigley

 

What we will do:

Ben will read a folklore story, a myth, or a legend each session, we will sit quietly to hold the energy of the story, together we will discuss the symbols and imagery in the story, finally Jarryd will lead the working with art materials to explore our relationship with the symbolism and archetypes being presented.

 

6 fortnightly, 2hour sessions each Tuesday for $90 total. ($15 per session)

We ask you to commit to coming to all the sessions with your payment upfront. This is of course how we are in life.

 

We will be drawing on books, principally, ‘Women Who Run With The Wolves’ by Clarissa Pinkola Estes and Robert Bly’s telling of ‘Iron John’, reading to one story per session.

 

This is a program designed to look at our roles and responsibilities as men in our culture today. How we can gain more satisfaction from our relationships and to build a stronger more cohesive community.
